We have big, exciting news to share — DashStrom has officially joined Remake Learning Days (RLD) 2026 as a proud participant host, and we’re bringing our signature event, Amazing Dash, to schools and families across the Pittsburgh region! This is a milestone moment for our community, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of this year’s global celebration of learning.

What is Remake Learning Days?
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, Remake Learning Days is one of the world’s largest multi-site open houses for hands-on, innovative learning. Rooted in Pittsburgh and now spanning regions across the U.S. and internationally — from Pennsylvania to New Zealand, the UK, and Uruguay — RLD connects kids, families, and educators through thousands of free, engaging events each spring.
Here in Southwestern Pennsylvania, the 2026 festival runs May 1 through May 23, featuring more than 270 free events at schools, libraries, museums, parks, tech centers, and community organizations throughout the region. DashStrom’s Amazing Dash is one of those events — and we’re beyond proud to be part of it.
Introducing Amazing Dash: Movement, Connection, and Play
Amazing Dash is a joyful, high-energy afterschool event where kids and caregivers team up to tackle fun challenges together. Families rotate through short games designed to build confidence, resilience, and teamwork — all through the power of play.
Think obstacle courses, relay races, coordination games, and creative challenges — all designed to be age-appropriate, inclusive, and genuinely fun. And the best part? Caregivers don’t watch from the sidelines — they join in.
What to Expect at Amazing Dash
Short, fast-moving challenge stations — no waiting around!
No experience or athletic skills required — everyone belongs here
Kids learn by trying, adjusting, and trying again
Caregivers participate right alongside their child
Progress and effort are celebrated — this is not about winning
Every child and caregiver receives a keepsake DashStrom bracelet!
School districts will compete in a friendly participation challenge — the district with the most families participating wins a prize!
Our Partnering Schools
We are incredibly grateful to partner with four outstanding educational communities to bring Amazing Dash to life. Events will be hosted at:
Hampton School District
Shadyside Academy
Gateway School District
Divine Mercy Academy
Note: For Shadyside Academy, two time slots are available per session: 3:30–4:30 PM and 4:45–5:45 PM. Registration details are on our “Amazing Dash” event page.
Why This Matters
Research has shown that learning together as a family has real benefits. At Amazing Dash, caregivers don’t just bring their children to an activity — they model confidence and perseverance. DashStrom's Amazing Dash gives families an experience that can build emotional skills and ideas they can use at home. Every family leaves feeling more connected — and every kid leaves feeling proud.
DashStrom’s activities are adaptable for all ages and abilities:
Mistakes are encouraged.
Effort is celebrated.
This is a welcoming, judgment-free experience for every family.
