Hello! My name is Lesli Craig. With over 22 years of experience as a public school teacher, including roles in Pre-K, elementary, and special education, I am passionate about fostering growth in children both inside and outside the classroom. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the incredible impact that PHYSICAL ACTIVITY and a POSITIVE SELF-ESTEEM (growth mindset) can have on a child's emotional, social, and academic development. I am excited to combine my love for teaching with my dedication to fitness to launch this unique program, which focuses on using exercise and physical wellness to build strong character.

I believe that fitness is not just about physical strength, but also about cultivating SELF - CONFIDENCE, GRIT, AND A GROWTH MINDSET. Through the Dashstrom program, I aim to inspire children to not only improve their fitness but also develop the life skills that will serve them well beyond the gym. My approach is rooted in love, care, and respect for each child’s individual journey, providing a supportive environment where every participant can grow, learn, and thrive.

Whether it’s through a fun game, a challenging exercise, or a team-building activity, I am committed to helping children build strong bodies and strong character. Together, we’ll create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where kids will feel EMPOWERED, capable, and confident in their abilities—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
