About Me
Hi, I am Coach Sheila Hunter. I'm the Head Coach & Owner of Kid PWR Run Club.
I am originally from the Big Island, Hawaii. I have lived in Vero Beach since October of 2015.
I am a mom of 2 boys Ellis & Kalani who are 6yo and 4yo. You will see them join in at our Afterschool Run Club program.
I am the PE Coach for Trinity Episcopal School.
I am a NASM Youth Exercise Specialist. I previously was a NASM Personal Trainer & Spartan SGX Coach for adults and now I love teaching kids.
I have taught children's mixed martial arts for 5 years in Southern California and have my Blackbelt in MMA.
I am U.S Center for SafeSport Trained.
I am a Health Coach and love sharing my passion with kids and adults in living a healthy active lifestyle thru health, fitness & nutrition.
I love to garden, I secretly bake protein donuts with Pono Nutrition and I spend a lot of time outdoors with the boys exploring all the parks, garden centers & botanical gardens in the Treasure Coast.

Kid PWR Run Club empowers kids of all abilities to be successful in running, wellness and life. We are not your traditional run club. We are way more! We transform traditional running games and drills into powerful life lessons. Know when your children are with us that they are getting a great workout AND they're building strength of character & a growth mindset.
We're excited for another Spartan Spring season. This season is geared for kids to run, jump, crawl and crush their way thru obstacles. It will get kids to do things that maybe uncomfortable, hard or challenging but in the end, the lessons they will learn and the exercises they will go thru over the season will only make them stronger mentally & physically to tackle any obstacle that comes in front of them. Kids may get wet/dirty/muddy during this season. This season is tied to a Spartan Kids race on March 29th in Boca Raton, FL. This race is highly encouraged but not required in order to participate in run club. More details on this will be added to our group chat.
Meet once a week on Thursdays, beginning on February 20th.

Open to all boys & girls of all fitness levels, ages 5yrs old - 11yrs old
We will meet on the grassy area for our 1st class.

Siblings are $100 if paid in Cash or Zelle. $106 paid by credit/debit card.
Registration for the season closes after the 1st class. Registration is not complete until payment has been made.
Registration cost includes participation gift & Finisher Dog Tag. Finisher dog tag is not guaranteed & must be earned at End of Season Challenge held on the day of the last class.
An optional Kids Spartan Race for kids ages 4yo and up is highly encouraged but not required. Registration for this race is separate from run club registration. All Spartan Race kid finishers will receive a Kids Finisher Medal, Kids Finisher T-shirt & bragging rights. More race details will be in our private group chat during the regular season when enrolled.
**Please note that any videos and photos posted on our social media platforms are some of the obstacles in a Kids Spartan Race.
